WeAreHD.org - The Social Support Network for People Living with Huntington's Disease

My granddad started out with the disease. He died before I was born. My dad had two brothers and they have since passed from HD. Currently my dad has HD and he has been diagnosed for about 7 years. He is showing the movements and has a lot of the mental aspects of the disase as well. Ever since my dad has gotten diagnosed I have tried to look at the positive sides of life. It has definitely taught me to enjoy life...even during the bad times because it won't last forever.

I am 20 years old and I go to school at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. My major is Emergency Administration and Management and I am hoping to graduate in December of 2008. It is SO weird that I only have a year left of school! I love hanging out with my friends, being with my family, being outdoors, playing tennis, and watching sports!

I am in college right now majoring in Emergency Management. I want to eventually get a job at a college making emergency plans for them. I will be graduating in December of 2008!

I like all the different types of movies except for scary ones! Some of my favorites are Accepted, Miss Congeniality, The Longest Yard, Legally Blonde, How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, The Fast and the Furious, and Without a Paddle!

I love all types of music!

I absolutely love italian and mexican food!
