I have been dating a guy for 3 years who's family has been struck with this disease. His father passed away a few years ago form Huntington's. His sister Laura was diagnosed with Juvenile Huntington's Disease in her teens. Sadly we just recently found out her 5 year old daughter Kathleen has inherited Juvenile Huntington's. My boyfriend nor his other sister have yet to be tested. We currently live with Laura as she hits the last stages of JHD. I help her in her everyday routines. It is a very hard thing to watch and take in. I am a complete supporter and pray everyday that a cure will be found soon..
