WeAreHD.org - The Social Support Network for People Living with Huntington's Disease

My mom's side of the family has the gene. I have siblings that are at risk for the HD gene.

I am 28 and attending Boise State University. All of my family is in Washington State (and Vancouver, BC) and we are dealing with HD in many different ways. I have tested negative but as some of you may know that doesn't make it any easier... I have brothers and sisters at risk or who have tested postive (one negative too) and the thought of any of them going through what we just watched our mom go through is a thought I don't care to entertain... we are still young 30's-20's so I there is still time for science to work out a cure and I know with my brother working on a cure at the University of British Columbia we are all in good hands :) I'm here to see what I can learn from others and maybe what I can contribute.
