It must be a scary thing to contemplate each year Bruce....the hurricanes unleash enormous power. It's awe inspiring to know that the power behind nature will soon put things right as well. And yes, it used to be that technology was easy to keep up with, someone came up with something new and it was a step up from what we had. Now it seems they are going ahead in quantum leaps and leaving us behind. Those of us who have not kept up are left so far behind that we seem to be on a distant planet now. It IS scary!  Anyhow, thank you as always for your kind words...sending you greetings from the beautiful east coast of Australia. jenny

Bruce, I am touched by your kind words. (and I did get your writing on Halloween...it was well done!) I too believe strongly in the power of prayer. This life is not the one we were meant to have and God has something wonderful awaiting those who have not compromised with the world; those who have not adopted its standards and practices and who still hold on strongly to their faith in spite of all they are going through. In our world of HD it is sometimes difficult to think about others suffering equally with a multitude of different maladies. God know how hard it is to stay on track when we are suffering and the world around us is so immoral and cruel. God knows those whose hearts are with him and he rewards their faithfulness. (Proverbs 27:11) I am sure he is smiling down on you and seeing your desire to please him....he will reward you with life in paradise along with all those dear ones we have lost in death. It will be a marvelous reunion.  Thank you for the encouragement. (((hugs))) jenny

     For your neice:

Accept HD. We have it. We see it. The only way to accept is to see. Accept that you or your loved ones are getting sicker. Accept it. HD is an illness that affects the whole family. Open your eyes and see what is going on. That is the only way to be at peace. Peace and harmony is your life. Being in denial won’t help a person get there. Don’t hide. You can’t be happy living in fear. You can’t be happy being scared. You don’t have to be afraid any more. Accept HD. Everyday I accept the fact that I am getting sicker. I am going to get sicker. We are all getting sicker. We just don’t have to die anymore. Not with the solid research that is here. By me accepting HD. I have moved on and live my life. It feels good to get out of denial. Get right out.

Glad to be a 'provoker' of thoughts Bruce.  I like to use my mind too. I don't take anything at face value, as you may have noticed. God wants us to know the truth about everything. It's a shame that some people are happy to be ignorant. I'm glad you are not one of them. All my good wishes to you, jenny

You sound like you have had a rough time lately Bruce. Everything ok now? Hurricanes all gone for now? And other problems under control? Hope so. All the best. jenny

Thanks for that bit of information Bruce, the Nazi's were a piece of work weren't they? It always amazes me that a regime that was so evil could have so many people demonstrating and supporting that same level of wickedness. The people in general were fooled by propaganda but the perpetrators were in full knowledge about what they were doing. Incredible! The Nuremburg trials found the participants guilty of genocide, but those who were simply carrying out orders under threat of death were found guilty on the basis of violating their own conscience . One assumes the head honchos had no conscience. And considering that the Nazis had the support of the Catholic Church is even more apalling. Are you a history buff Bruce? I am always interested in how the past shaped the future. And yes euthanasia is a very delicate subject. All the best, Jenny
