Connecting via IM seems to be unreliable. Marsha and I were online at the same time but have been unable to connect via the IM feature. We've already both figured out that we needed to disable our pop-up blockers for the site so that's not the problem. I click on "Send IM", send a message and she is not receiving acknowledgement. We were able to establish an exchange yesterday (for whatever that's worth). 11/6 update - We were able to connect .... however her window lost messages temporarily and then they "suddenly reappeared". I believe she is using a FireFox browser. Are there any minimum requirements to use the chat software or are there any dependent plug-ins? I noticed one time that this site asked me to install an MS/XML plug-in (I'm using Windows Vista and IE 7.0)12 months ago
I entered a blog entry by copying the html source for the entry from another site and pasted it in. After the comment was entered the blog displayed with all of the HTML tags displayed rather than interpreted. When I clicked edit in order to remove the comments the editor then properly interpreted the HTML. I clicked Save and everything was fine. It would have caused me less anxiety had the HTML been properly interpreted upon first entry. :-)12 months ago
Even though I have "Remember me" clicked when I log in, I have to relogin everytime I close the browser and return to the site.12 months ago

- Corrected permissions for community objects
* Can Add items if you are a community member
* Can Edit items if you are the object creator or community administrator.
* Improved tabbing headers on profile pages

THANKS! It's looking better and better. In my profile page, if I mouse over the balloon icon for the bookmarks, the balloon expands but is empty. Should the balloon contain the description of the bookmark that I entered in (in addition to the pretty little mini-screen print of the Web page - which isn't displaying either except for the copyright info of the WebSnapR)?12 months ago

I log in, close the browser, then re-open the browser and go to WeAreHD.org and even though I had selected to "Remember me" it forgot me. I feel so unworthy of being remembered. :-(12 months ago

Thanks Angela. :-) When I got home I logged into the site and I was remembered. It showed my my profile information just as if I was logged on - or so it seemed. I then clicked on the Home tab and it logged me off. Now if that isn't just downright mean I don't know what is. (Update: it just seemed - I'm not convinced I wasn't really logged on.)12 months ago
Your not alone. It doesn't remember me either. I've been hoping that function would start working soon because I am not good at remembering passwords. My note is pretty well covered with coffee stains and I won't be able to read it soon.12 months ago

I just replied to a message and the message box was preloaded with the HTML markup. This would be pretty disconcerting to a person that's never seen HTML before.12 months ago

Okay, the request from Pat disappeared. I logged off this afternoon, logged back on tonight and the request is back and so is the error message when I try to approve it.

I'm not sure if this is a "bug" but I cannot change my password. I've done it under My Account a few times and every time I sign on it makes me use the random one that I was sent when I "forgot my password".

And when someone goes to update their profile, on the HD info page, it says "Date Diagnosed" and if nothing is changed it automatically puts "December 31, 1969". I think it also defaults to "maternal".

This morning I couldn't log in from the black bar. The page http://weare.us/gateway.php could not be found.
I could, however, login from my user profile using the form on the right side.

Two days in a row I spent 15 minutes typing up a thoughtful response to a message from Stephen Doogan and when I clicked send I received a page not found message. When I clicked refresh I received a "not authorized to ..../action.." page. Very frustrating.
