I am pretty sure that cag is just lables that Dr.s give DNA like a telephone uses 1s and 0s so a cag of sa 3 would be cagcagcag. Your cag score is what they use to diagnose with a gene test. Hope this helps

Talk to your doctor.  If you do not have one, get a neurologist.  They take a vial of blood and send it for genetic testing.  The test will determine the CAG score.  I have the gene for Huntingtons, but chose not to find out what my score is. My doctor knows.

CAG is the repeats of the proteins in the DNA chain. They repeat and spell the letters, C-A-G. Those are letters that the scientist have given for the specific proteins. It's when you have an abnormally long sequence of the CAG proteins that there is a problem. My repeats were 45. The doc gives you that when you get test results. The lower the number the better. There is a cut off point, like if it's under a certain number then you will not develop Huntingtons. As far a getting your cag score, this require getting tested. I got mine from a local neurologist
