Tell us about your experience with/connection to Huntingtons Disease

“I've been involved with HD since 1983 when my only child, Kelly, was first diagnosed through an MRI as suspecting to have juvenile Huntington's chorea.  We did not know it ran in her paternal side of the family [neither did they].  Kelly later tested positive for HD after the gene was discovered...”

    Hi Jean!!! How are you doing? I am doing great. I am feeling pretty good. My speech is slurered. My balance is not so great anymore. I have trouble on the stairs. I have trouble walking. I miss you. I love you.

    I still can't believe that was your last convention!  I wish we would have met years ago when I really needed someone like you - which are a few in a million.  You truly have made a difference in the HD community and especially in the youth!  Love you always Jean!

    hiya Jean!  I will most definitely be at the convention...and I will see you there.  I know it's been a couple years, but, I met you at a support group in Tampa in Feb of 07.  My family all live in a little place called Homosassa Springs, about an hour north of Tampa.  See you in a week!!!
