Tell us about your experience with/connection to Huntingtons Disease
When I was a small child, I learned that my mother had Huntington's Disease. Many of my other family members have had it, do have it, and have died from it as well. I've known the horror of it, and live with the pain it causes every day. Just recently I've lost my mother to the illness. I watched as she transformed from a loving, ambitious mother, full of life, into a broken and derranged wreck of a soul, and from there into a vegetative empty shell. Huntington's Disease has ravaged my life, and now I may have the disease as well.
