I feel and share your pain. HD is slowly taking away my family. I lost my father at 50 yrs old and just recently my oldest sister at 38 yrs old. I'm currently watching my 34 yr old and 30 yr old sisters deteriorating from HD. Plus I am gene positive and still presymptomatic but I'm sure HD is already killing my brain. I have a younger sister who should have her results in the next couple of weeks. I have a daughter and 8 nieces and nephews that all are at risk. HD sucks and must be stopped! Even though it is extremely painful I find positiveness by being involved in the fight for a cure by participating in all the research studies that I can and writing my congressmen about supporting bills that will help the HD community and raising money for our walk in St. Louis and hearts for HD. I feel peace bcuz I know I am contributing. Do you know about the National Youth Alliance (NYA)? Where do you live? I truly want to be your friend bcuz we have so much in common.
