Hello!
Pleased to meet you all! My name is Sahar and I just finished my sophomore year at the University of California, Irvine. I am from the Bay Area and I’m spending this summer at home. I just started a six-week internship at the Aedeas Group and I’m really excited about it. I am in charge of Community Support on the WeAre websites. I think that WeAre is an extremely valuable way for like-minded people and people with similar conditions to interact with each other in a positive environment. What I like most about WeAre.Us is that it is a fruitful and free way to bring people together and to, thus, make people feel as if they are not alone in their visions and conditions. People that have a connection with specific diseases can build a sense of community with each other. I foresee WeAre as being a popular website that can be used for both educational and social purposes.
I would like to get to know all of you and get your feedback on the website. Feel free to befriend me and invite your friends to join the websites!I found an informative picture of the genetics of Huntington's Disease and I would like to share it with you. From the picture, one can conclude that genetics play a vital role in the contraction of the disease.
