Hi Karen-- thanks for the post. I appreciate the welcomes! HD is in my dad's side of the family.. My mom is in denial that her life is worse than mine with HD. It is a very sore issue since you would think your parent would be loving and kind when u get a terminal diagnosis. My mom just told me her life was worse than mine after I told her. I have a 20 yr old son at risk. Drop me a line anytime.
Spread the word that i have started the LA chapter of the HDSA support group for the Acdiana Region. It will be posted on National's site soon thanks to Sean.
Welcome to the site................. I read your bio, maybe I miss read it? Does your dad & mom have HD? My family has had the disease forever. My daughter, tested negative, so far. We are in need of a cure,as soon as possible. Keep in touch............Karen Lyon
