Hello, I'm the Web developer for three HD Web sites: - Huntington's Disease Advocacy Center http://www.hdac.org/ - HDlighthouse http://www.hdlighthouse.org/ - HDSA Texas Affiliate http://www.hdsatexas.org/ Working on HDAC and the HDlighthouse with Marsha is an "after work" hobby/passion for me. I'm a software systems architect by profession. You may have seen me at prior HDSA National Conferences - I'm the geek on the front row with the camera taking photographs of the PowerPoint presentations so that Marsha and I can prepare conference reports for the HDlighthouse. Like many of you I married into the Huntington's disease. At the time of the marriage no one was aware of any risk of HD. My wife's father had left the scene when she was only around 4 years old. She is now in a wonderful care facility in Colorado. I continue to immerse myself in the HD cybercommunity - an activity I started several years ago in an effort to learn as much as I could about Huntington's Disease so that I could better understand how to prepare for and manage the impact that HD would have on my family. I still continue to learn a lot from the HD community via the HDAC and HDL forums, HDlighthouse updates, and articles contributed the the HDAC Web site by members of the HD community. Last year I joined the HDSA Board of Trustees.
